Before you call
Do you charge for an estimate?
No. Estimates are free and there is nothing to sign. We measure the bathroom, talk through what you want changed, and leave you with a written price.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Louisiana Residential Licence #890459 and Commercial Licence #3667, and we carry insurance on every project.
Do you only do bathrooms?
Only bathrooms. It is the whole business. Doing one room means we meet the same problems every week and have already solved them, and it is why we can be straight with you about scope.
The work itself
How long does a bathroom renovation take?
Most full bathroom renovations run two to three weeks from demolition to final walkthrough. A shower-only replacement or a tub-to-shower conversion is usually finished inside a week. Your written estimate carries the schedule for your specific room.
How much does a bathroom remodel cost in New Orleans?
Cost depends on the size of the room, whether plumbing moves, and the tile and fixtures you choose. We do not quote a range sight unseen. We measure the bathroom, price it in writing, and the number does not move unless you change the scope.
Will I be able to use the bathroom during the renovation?
Not the one being renovated. The room is out of service from demolition until the fixtures are set, which is why we tell you the finish date up front and keep one crew on it rather than moving people between jobs.
Will my bathroom need a permit?
It depends on what is being changed and on where you are. Permits and inspections are a parish matter almost everywhere we work, and Kenner is the exception with its own department. Where the job needs a permit, we pull it, and the written estimate says so before anything starts.
Why does the parish matter so much?
Because it decides the office, the paperwork and the timeline. Two houses ten minutes apart can sit in different parishes and follow completely different routes, which is why we confirm yours before we price the work.
Showers
Can you convert my bathtub into a walk-in shower?
Yes. Tub-to-shower conversion is one of our most requested jobs. We remove the existing tub, rebuild and waterproof the substrate, then install a new base, wall tile and glass enclosure in the same footprint, so no plumbing has to be relocated.
How long does a shower replacement take?
A shower-only replacement or a tub-to-shower conversion is usually finished inside a week. A full bathroom runs two to three weeks from demolition to walkthrough.
Do you install barrier-free showers?
We do. Curbless, flush-entry showers and low-threshold shower bases are part of our standard work, and they are the right call if someone in the house has trouble stepping over a tub wall.
Bathtubs
What is the difference between a tub liner and a replacement?
A liner is a moulded shell fitted over your existing tub, and it only works if that tub is structurally sound. A replacement takes the old tub out and rebuilds the surround tile, which is what you need if the tub is cracked or if something behind the wall has failed.
Do you install walk-in tubs?
We do. Walk-in tubs are part of our standard work, and they are the right call if someone in the house has trouble stepping over a tub wall. The plumbing and framing the unit requires are included.
Can you turn the bath into a shower instead?
Yes, that is one of our most requested jobs. It sits under showers: we remove the tub and install a new base, wall tile and glass in the same footprint, so no plumbing has to be relocated.

Which cities do you cover?
New Orleans plus thirteen more: Metairie, Kenner, Gretna, Harahan, River Ridge, St Rose, LaPlace, Slidell, Covington, Mandeville, Madisonville, Hammond and Baton Rouge. That spans seven parishes, from the Northshore out to Baton Rouge.
Do you charge more for the cities further out?
No. The estimate is free wherever you are on that list, and the drive is ours to make. If you are just outside it, call and ask rather than assuming the answer is no.
Is it the same crew in every city?
Yes. One crew stays with your job from the first measurement to the last wipe-down, and our own installers do the demolition, waterproofing, tiling and fit-out. There is no second trade to chase.
